As part of their experience, Leadership Redding participants, have the option to develop a project which allows them to invest their talents, connections, enthusiasm and resources to leave a lasting impact on the community.

Projects include:

• Educational Workshop to inspire students to finish high school (#Finish First)
• Creation of raised boxes filled with garden plants at One Safe Place
• Funding of the Judge Eaton Clock Tower at Library Park
• Creation and building of seats at the Redding Arboretum using sustainable materials
• Meal trays for Living Hope Compassion Ministries
• Gardening at Redding City Hall Sculpture Park
• Funding of a Police K-9 for the Redding Police Dept.
• Refurbishing of bedrooms at the House of Hope/Good News Rescue Mission
• Funding of the light at the Sacramento River Trail
• Trail work along the Sacramento River Trail System
• Funding of a chair for the restoration of the Cascade Theatre
• Creation of a resource map identifying the locations for the social service agencies in the Redding area
• Creation of the Alumni Association
• Tuition Assistance
